How this all started.

One Saturday afternoon eight years ago, an idea came to me. It made me realize that I needed help to stay focused on my goals and to be stronger in the way I lived my life. I thought what better way than to wear a particular goal on a tee shirt so that I could be reminded of my focus each time I faced myself in the mirror. I imagined the sayings and designs. I also imagined how this shirt could help others to stay focused on their path to personal transformation. I even came up with the name of the company, Transformation Tees. That idea came through me over and over again! But as the years passed, the demands of a Northeast corporate sales career, motherhood and the challenges of life drowned out the voice of this idea.

But the whispers never stopped.

I believe we are given information for a reason. As with many inspirations we have in life, we are only vehicles to getting certain things accomplished, especially if the end result is positive for others.

And then it happened!

Eight years after first envisioning how Transformation Tees could be my contribution for positive influence, the whisper became a ROAR! I was commuting on Route 80, once again crawling along for a typical two hour trip to my office in NYC, when it hit me. I knew I needed to leave my corporate career to start this company. I took the very next exit off the highway, went to a business supply store and bought office materials to start the Transformation Tees line. A week later, I officially resigned from the company where I had worked for over 25 years. My first tee shirt design, “I will make this leap with faith” comes from that bold move out of my personal comfort zone. The message is really very simple. Transformation Tees is founded on the belief that an individual’s power comes from within. We have the power to make core changes by using our internal focus, strength, wisdom and faith. Positive transformation is the gift we receive at the end of the journey of personal change. The Transformation Tees reverse/reflective image is designed for “you” to read and serves as a constant reminder of your goal each time you face yourself in the mirror. What matters most is not what others see in you but what you see in yourself.

Always remember that strength comes from within.
